BYU Going To The Poinsettia Bowl in 2015

BYU and the city of San Diego in bowl season is something Cougar fans are very familiar with.  The two have a long, storied tradition of great games, historic finishes, and championships.

In a day that was filled with huge announcements at BYU Football Media Day, Tom Holmoe announced that BYU will be going to the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl in 2015.

BYU was in the Poinsettia Bowl last season in a victory over San Diego State.  There is still no bowl game tie-in for 2014.  There’s a possibility BYU could be like Notre Dame is this year, have no tie-in and wait to see if anything opens up, or lock down a one-year agreement with one of the lower-tier bowls.
