The tough news for BYU continues. Running Back Jamaal Williams is out this week from the head injury he suffered against Utah last week.  That comes as no surprise.  The fact that Williams was a game-time decision was the biggest shocker.  The shocking news came from wide receiver Cody Hoffman.

It was announced today that senior wide receiver Cody Hoffman would be suspended for one game for violating team rules.

Hoffman will be back when the Cougars take on Utah State next week.

How does this impact BYU tonight against Middle Tennessee?  Personally feel BYU still wins this game.  But the loss of Hoffman is huge. Hoffman is the only pass catcher that opposing defenses have to respect.  Will be interesting to see how this Cougar offense responds against a team that is far inferior than what they have seen in previous weeks.
