BYU football: Way-too-early predictions for the 2017 schedule

BYU football has a big-time schedule in 2017. There’s legitimate potential for the New Year’s Six bowl. Can the Cougars do it?

BYU football has the potential to make a real splash this season. Will it be difficult to do? Surely. But does BYU football sport the roster to make it happen? Absolutely.

With 13 games on the slate, the Cougars have a very real shot of finishing with 10-11 wins. If that happens, it will be the first time since 2011.

So can the Cougars do it?

PSU record last year: 3-8

The game against the Vikings is an important one, because it gives BYU football a chance to get a tune-up in before clashing with LSU. Portland State doesn’t stand much of a chance against the Cougars, and this game won’t likely tell us much about what BYU will be in 2017. Still, the Cougars will roll.
