BYU Football will kickoff the 2019 season in only 55 days.

We are down to 55 days until the start of the football season. It is getting close! Yesterday as we celebrated the 4th of July and the conversation turned to football, it became even more real to me that football season is not far away at all.

In fact, now that the 4h of July is over, the start of the football season is the next big event that I am looking forward to in my life.

As this countdown continues to get lower, there will be more debatable players. When we were in the 70’s and 80’s many of the players were probably unknown to half of our readers. As we now get into the low 50’s and 40’s it will be players you’ve heard of, thus causing more controversy. For this reason, we remind you that the rankings is based off of the impact, statistics and memorable moments. A lineman probably has no memorable moments and a quarterback on a 2-10 doesn’t exactly leave the best impact even if his stats are amazing. Today’s player ranks top ten in impact and top twenty in memorable moments, but his statistics are in the 90’s which averaged him out to be No. 55
