1. You will know Quandre Diggs’ name by the end of the game.
For a full year we’ve been hearing about Taysom Hill and BYU’s rushing attack embarrassing the Texas defense, coaching staff, players, fans, alumni, and founders of the school. At this point, we get it; Texas won’t let Taysom Hill’s legs beat them again.
The BYU coaching staff knows that this is the mindset and they will be prepared for it. The group of wide receivers that Texas saw last year is not near as talented as the group this year. Jordan Leslie and Ross Apo will be in their home states, Mitch Matthews showed that he is healthy again, Devon Blackmon will be back from suspension and Terren Houk, Devin Mahina and Mitchell Juergens proved to be solid targets for Hill against UConn. The Texas secondary will be tested and Quandre Diggs is arguably the best player in that secondary. Watch out for Diggs, Cougar fans.
