When I think of success in College Football, teams need to have two things, a balanced schedule and a great Quarterback.

I’m always reminded of BYU’s 2010 schedule where the Cougars faced the who’s who of College Football Quarterbacks. In a four week stretch BYU faced Jake Locker from Washington, Christian Ponder from Florida State, and Colin Kaepernick from Nevada.  Those three QB’s BYU faced in 2010 were all drafted in the Top 40 picks of the 2011 NFL Draft, and all are starting QB’s for the teams that drafted them heading into the 2013 NFL season.

BYU finished 7-6 in that 2010 season, and a large part of that was due to the rich talent they faced under center on the opposing sideline.

BYU is heading into a season where many feel this is the toughest schedule in program history.  Who will be the signal callers for these teams that the Cougs will be facing in 2013?  We are going to take a look into that today.

This is a list ranking BYU’s opposing Quarterbacks for this upcoming season. Who is the best Quarterback that BYU will face this season?  Take a look at how we rank ’em.
