We’re nearly 20 years into the 2000’s. BYU football has seen many players come and go in that time – but which players were the best?

BYU football is 133-70 in the 2000’s. That might not be a stellar mark, but there’s no denying there’s been more good in the 2000’s than bad.

Even though BYU hasn’t always had the season fans wanted, the Cougars have had great talent in Provo each and every season.

But which players were great enough to make the All-2000’s BYU football team?

Let’s go position by position to find out.

Quarterback: Max Hall

Years Active: 2006-09

Career Stats: 94 passing TDs; 11,365 passing yards; 65 percent completion percentage

Hall started at quarterback for three seasons, compiling a record of 32-7. He was 2-1 against the Utes, had one of the greatest postgame rants in history, and won two bowl games.

Hall won big games, and was one of the better statistical quarterbacks in BYU football history. As a senior he threw for 300+ yards eight times in 13 games.

Other considerations: Taysom Hill, Brandon Doman
