Ten different former BYU football standouts are getting shots in the NFL following the draft. Who is going where?

Only one former BYU football player was selected in the NFL Draft (Jamaal Williams), but there were plenty of former Cougars that received phone calls when the draft concluded.

Williams was drafted in fourth round by the Green Bay Packers. He was one of three running backs the Packers selected in the draft.

Former BYU football quarterback Taysom Hill will be joining Williams in Lambeau Field. Hill had an explosive and injury-plagued career in Provo, but if he can stay healthy he’s landed in a great situation. What quarterback wouldn’t want to learn from Aaron Rodgers?

Linebacker/defensive end Harvey Langi landed with the New England Patriots. We think Bill Belichick may try and use him in a Rob Ninkovich-type role. You can read a full breakdown here.

Former defensive end Sae Tautu has signed with the New Orleans Saints. Tautu left Provo with 100 total tackles and 10 sacks in his career.

Algie Brown signed with the Seattle Seahawks. Brown played running back and fullback for BYU football, and Seattle will continue to use him in a fullback role.

Safety and ball-hawking specialist Kai Nacua agreed to a deal with the Cleveland Browns. Cornerback Michael Davis signed with the Los Angeles Chargers.

Andrew Eide took a mini-camp invitation with the San Francisco 49ers and Brad Wilcox (who left BYU football in 2015) accepted one with the New Orleans Saints.

Wide out Nick Kurtz, who suffered a disappointing senior season, took an invitation with the Oakland (soon-to-be Las Vegas) Raiders.

Congratulations to each of the former Cougars. Surely it was a fulfilling of a lifelong dream for each and every one of them.
