Many are counting down the days until that first kick off takes place. What they don’t realize is that BYU football has begun. The true season starts with fall camp.

At this point in the summer, college football fans know a lot. They’ve heard what is known about their football teams for months. The same can be said for BYU football.

It’s time to get answers for the questions we don’t have answers to.

I love this time of year. We as fans, receive so much information in just a few days. It’s almost (stress on almost) too much to handle.

Here are five questions I’m dying to get answered about BYU football.

No. 1: Who will start at right tackle?

The Cougar offensive line has four returning starters from last season. Tejan Koroma (center), Keyan Norman (left guard), Thomas Shoaf (left tackle), and Tuni Kanuch (right guard) have a pretty strong hold on their spots.

The battle is between Austin Hoyt and Kieffer Longson at right tackle. It will also be interesting to see if JC transfer, John Taipe Vaka, can be in a part of the competition as well.

Regardless of who wins the starting nod, offensive line coach Mike Empey has gone on record saying he wants to use a bit of a rotation this season along the line. So expect to see everyone at some point.
