#10 Joel Stave, Wisconsin

Height: 6-5

Weight: 227

Class: Sophomore

2012 stats: 70-119, 1104 yards, 6 TD’s, 3 INT’s, 58.8%

The Badgers played Quarterback roulette last season starting three different QBs.  Stave was one of those three, and was the first Freshman QB to start a game for the Badgers since 2000.  Stave had six starts until he was injured against Michigan State.

Like many Wisconsin QB recruits, Stave wasn’t a highly recruited player out of high school, but is a great fit in the Badgers run based attack.  In Stave’s six starts the Badgers saw their most productive offensive games in 2012, averaging 34 points per game.
