Dennis Pitta
Baltimore Ravens | Tight End
Years at BYU: 2004, 2007-2009
Considered one of the Top 100 players in the NFL heading into the 2013 season, Pitta had a breakout season last year en route to a Super Bowl victory with the Ravens.
Nicknamed, “American Express” by Ravens teammate Terrell Suggs because Pitta is everywhere you need him to be. You get a nickname from T-Sizzle, you are doing things right in the NFL.
Pitta was drafted by Baltimore in the 2010 Draft along with TE Ed Dickson from Oregon. Pitta has now become the focal point of Joe Flacco’s passing game, thus sending Dickson to the bench.
For those who follow Fantasy Football, Pitta is considered to be one of the top sleepers for this season.
