BYU Football: Bronco’s Biggest Recruiting Letdowns

Though Phillips was rated as just a 2-star recruit, he has a lot of hype coming into the BYU football program. Phillips, from Boaz, Alabama, was supposed to bring speed that rarely sets foot in Provo. Unfortunately, Phillips has a myriad of problems upon his arrival at BYU. After he announced he was not returning, Bronco Mendenhall said “Drew is someone that struggled in his time here at BYU, just kind of in team policy and consistency.”
