Football season and Signing Day are now over. So now we turn our attention to the NFL Draft process to see if any former BYU players will be selected to play at the next level.
For the first time since 2002, BYU will have five players at the NFL’s annual draft combine in Indianapolis.
Players attending:
- Kyle Van Noy, Linebacker
- Cody Hoffman, Wide Receiver
- Eathyn Manumaleuna, Defensive Line
- Daniel Sorensen, Defensive Back
- Uani Unga, Linebacker (Injury)
BYU is looking to have multiple players selected in a draft for the first time since 2009 when Austin Collie and Fui Vakapuna were selected.
The record for most BYU players at an NFL Combine was in 1986 when BYU had a total of eight. The combine was held in New Orleans that year.
Good luck to all the former Cougars who will looking to continue their football careers at the next level.
