The Miami Hurricanes will forever be part of BYU football history. If you’ve been following BYU football for longer than ten seconds then you’ve surely seen highlights of the game that Ty Detmer led the Cougars to an upset victory over the #1 ranked Hurricanes. It was truly one of the most memorable games in BYU history.
Miami has fallen off the national stage since 1990, but they are starting to climb back into the spotlight. It’s very unlikely that they’ll ever come to Provo as the #1 team in the country again, but it would still be a very good game against a very good opponent.
