BYU vs. Houston, September 11th (Thursday)

Houston always produces talented quarterbacks.  The stigma with UH QB’s though is that they are always labeled as a product of a system.  O’Korn might buck that trend for the Cougars clad in red.  Came onto the scene after David Piland went down with an injury, O’Korn almost broke Case Keenum’s record for passing yards in a season as a freshman.  Earned American Conference Rookie of the Year honors for his play.

O’Korn is probably the best passer that BYU will face all season.  Has great touch on his passes, and good size.  Will be interesting to see how he fares now that he is a known commodity, but I would expect O’Korn to avoid the sophomore slump.  He’s a future NFL quarterback in the making.  BYU vs. UH on September 11th will be a great Thursday night tilt.
