BYU vs. Virginia, September 20th

Lambert looks to give Virginia some consistency on offense this year, something David Watford (started vs. BYU) could not do.

Lambert has all the physical traits to be a very good quarterback at the FBS level.  Out of high school, Lambert had offers from the likes of Alabama and Georgia.  With Lambert under center I would expect the Cavaliers to be improved this year, but it’s still hard to imagine them winning enough to get bowl eligible.  The fact that he was selected to be a team captain is a positive thing for the Cavaliers however as they enter a make-or-break year in the Mike London era.
