BYU @ Boise State Friday, October 24

Boise State has quite a few question marks heading into the season, including its defense.  Bryan Harsin takes over for legendary coach Chris Petersen, and inherits a Boise team with less talent than normal for the Broncos.  Last year, Boise’s defense was ranked 74 in the country and gave up 410 yards per game.  That’s the worst Bronco defensive performance since 2004.  Boise has 8 guys back from that team and they should be improved, despite losing two defensive tackles to the NFL.  Last year, Taysom Hill had his best game against Boise and should have a lot of confidence going into this one.

Player to Watch:  Ben Weaver, OLB.  Weaver had 89 tackles in 2013 along with 4 tackles for loss, including a sack.
