11.  Bob Diaco, UCONN

Bob Diaco was named Connecticut’s head coach in December, taking on a tall task of rebuilding a program that won just three games last year.  Diaco spent the past four seasons as the defensive coordinator at Notre Dame.  Diaco also has position coach stints at Cincinnati, Virginia, and Eastern, Western, and Central Michigan.

Signature Win: BYU x2 (With Notre Dame)

Though Diaco was not the head coach at Notre Dame, he was the defensive coordinator of the Notre Dame teams that beat BYU in 2012 and 2013 in South Bend.  Surely, he’ll have his defense ready to face the Cougars on August 29.
