10.  Brian Polian, Nevada

Brian Polian replaced Chris Ault as the coach of the Wolfpack before of the 2013 season.  Nevada is a program that has had recent success with Ault’s pistol formation and players like Colin Kaepernick.  Polian  was primarily a special teams coach before being hired at Nevada.  His first season as the Wolfpack coach was not as successful as he had hoped, as UNR went 4-8.  Nevada put up a good fight in the first half against BYU last season, but I wouldn’t expect it to be as tight this year.

Signature Win: SJSU, 2013

San Jose State was the only respectable team that Nevada beat last year.  Nevada was able to get their offense humming behind quarterback Cody Fajardo and upset the Spartans 38-16 on November 16.
