Tonight, McMahon spoke at the Hall of Fame induction ceremony and was in vintage McMahon form. By the way, who can pull off a flower suit like Jimmy Mac? I’d say no one. The definition of the word majestic has an image of Jimmy Mac’s suit from tonight in the dictionary, that thing was glorious.
McMahon’s speech shows how much fun the guy is. You can tell there is a lot of respect between Jimmy Mac and Tom Holmoe. You could argue, if it wasn’t for Holmoe, McMahon probably never graduates and he isn’t getting his moment in the pantheon of BYU’s greats. Now he will be enshrined forever in the hall of fame, and with his jersey being retired during tomorrow night’s game against Utah State.
Here’s the full speech of McMahon’s speech being enshrined into the BYU Hall of Fame.
