The No. 15 Longhorns came to Provo looking for a win, but Taysom Hill and the Cougar running attack plowed them to the tune of a school-record 550 yards.

But perhaps lost in the shuffle was Van Noy’s defensive performance for BYU football.

Van Noy collected eight tackles and one sack in the game, but he continually walloped Texas quarterback David Ash. He alone had five quarterback hits in the game – the most of any game in his career.
