BYU basketball: Three Cougar keys to a WCC Tournament run

Get Elijah Bryant and TJ Haws going

Honestly, the Cougars will need everyone contributing if they’re going to sneak out a WCC tournament title. But, for the most part, Eric Mika will do Eric Mika things against anyone. Yoeli Childs will still grab boards and protect the paint. Emery has been streaky all year, so it’s tough to count on him.

That boils things down to TJ Haws and Elijah Bryant.

Haws and Bryant were big for the Cougars in Spokane, and when the two are playing well BYU is a dangerous team. Consistency has been an issue, so Dave Rose just has to hope they stay hot. Bryant is the reigning WCC Player of the Week and TJ Haws was named to the WCC All-Freshman Team.
