4. Loss at Pepperdine

What is it about Malibu that gives BYU basketball and Dave Rose fits? The Cougars haven’t won at Pepperdine since 2012-13. This year was no different, and BYU racked up 18 turnovers en route to a 99-83 loss. Eric Mika and Yoeli Childs each fouled out, and the Waves’ Lamond Murray Jr. scored 30 points.
