3. Loss at San Diego

Among San Diego’s 18 losses are games dropped to Portland, Pepperdine, Pacific (X2) and Samford.

So of course the Toreros knocked off BYU basketball at Jenny Craig Pavilion.

San Diego shot 57 percent from 3-point range, and despite a career-high from TJ Haws, the Cougars were unable to get the win. At the time, the win brought San Diego to .500, but the Toreros finished 7th in the WCC.
