2. Loss to St. Mary’s in WCC semis

Yeah, no one wants to relive this one. BYU basketball rolled into the semifinals of the WCC Tournament, knowing the only way to get to the NCAAs was to win.

Instead, the Cougars got shellacked. Embarrassed. Decimated.

It was ugly, terrible and one of the worst losses of Dave Rose’s career. The 81-50 loss should stick in the craw of the Cougars for a long, long time.
