Eric Mika: A-

Mika played and started in all 33 games for the Cougars, while averaging 28.5 minutes per game. The biggest issue with Mika’s season was that he struggled to stay on the court. Mika had four or five fouls in nearly one third of the Cougars’ season.

But, when he was on the floor, he was unquestionably the best player on the roster.

Mika averaged 20.1 points per game on 53 percent shooting. He added 9.2 rebounds per game and improved his free-throw shooting by 15 percentage points (61 percent to 76 percent). He scored 10+ points in every game, topping 20 in 15 games.

There’s talk of the NBA concerning Mika, but that won’t happen this season. One only needs to look to Mika’s performance against St. Mary’s and Jock Landale in the WCC tourney.
