Rainy day means bad football

It was rainy, windy and cold in Provo. No good.

Those elements combined to make things even slower than usual for a spring scrimmage. But, with health being a major focus, one can’t blame players for taking it a little easy.

However, that made for a slow and kind of boring day of football.

Still, it was great to see the Cougars back on the field.

Tanner Mangum struggled in the rain, however. The junior signal caller completed 17-of-25 passes throughout the day for 203 yards and three interceptions.
