Fred Warner, senior linebacker

Warner already seems like a lock for a captain spot. He was an on-field leader last season, so returning only gives him more clout in the locker room.

Warner racked up 86 total tackles and three interceptions last season. He also put in work off-the-field, helping recruit his younger brother Troy to Provo.

Throughout the spring, Warner has been a player the rest of the team looks to. He, like Mangum, is great with the media, and it always makes sense to have a LB be a captain, since the position is often responsible for making calls on the field.
