BYU basketball: Dave Rose’s all-time starting five (and bench)
Center: Eric Mika
BYU basketball career: 2013-14, 2016-17
Best season statistics: 20.3 PPG, 1.6 APG, 9.2 RPG (2016-17)
Mika’s current status is up in the air, but there’s no denying he’s one of the best bigs Dave Rose has ever had.
He’s basically a walking double-double, and any Cougar garnering NBA attention as a sophomore is qualified to make this team.
Mika added 15 points to his free-throw percentage (61 to 76) as a sophomore, and doesn’t really have a hole in his game – as far as collegiate competition is concerned.
He’s the only underclassmen to make the starting five, meaning he’s the only player to have their best season as an underclassman.
