Starter: Tanner Jacobson

Backups/In The Mix: Zayne Anderson, Austin Lee

Texas Tech transfer Jacobson – if spring ball is any indication – seems to have the free safety spot on lock down. Still, Anderson played well throughout spring ball and Utah transfer Lee is expected to contribute in some way (at least on the special teams unit).
