Career Stats: 193 total tackles; 19 sacks; 39 TFL; 4 FF

Poppinga was a First Team All-Mountain West linebacker three times. His junior season may have been his best, compiling 13 tackles for a loss and six sacks.

Call him a defensive end, call him a linebacker, but it doesn’t matter. Poppinga was a gamer.
