There probably won’t be much depth

Rose is currently searching the transfer market in hopes of adding a player (or two). If Dick Harmon is correct, BYU basketball will be without Steven Beo, Davin Guinn and Jamal Aytes next season.

Plus, Corbin Kaufusi is done playing basketball, and L.J. Rose and Kyle Davis have graduated.

The Cougars will return Dalton Nixon, Ryan Andrus and Luke Worthington, and Zac Seljaas returned from his LDS mission early and will play next season.

Those are all welcome additions, but it isn’t enough to provide any real depth. All signs point to current commit Christian PoPoola Jr. not signing with BYU. He currently holds offers from Memphis, Oklahoma, USC and SMU – among others.

As it stands, it will be slim pickings for Rose next season.
