No. 3: NRG Stadium favors the bold
Finally, let’s not forget about the last game that took place at NRG Stadium.
Down 28-3 late in the third quarter, Tom Brady engineered one of the greatest comebacks in NFL history to win Super Bowl LI.
Let’s just say if there’s one place to expect the unexpected right now, it’s this stadium.
Plus NRG Stadium has been kind to BYU football in the past. A 2013 win over Houston is BYU’s only previous appearance at the stadium, but it bodes well for the Cougars.
So never say never.
