BYU basketball head coach Dave Rose put a bow on the season at his media panel. With the big name sports done for a while, the internet will provide you with your necessary hoops transfusion until football starts.
BYU basketball fans are fortunate.
For most fan bases, during the blasted, parched earth of the offseason between basketball and football, there is little relief. For some Cougar fans, there’s at least men’s volleyball, baseball, and softball to watch.
But even if you are a fan of these sports, getting ahold of them is not easy. Unless it’s a home game on BYUtv, broadcasting mostly consists of a single fixed-cam stream and a listless communications undergrad who slaughters easy name pronunciations. (Seriously, is Jake Langlois really that hard?)
And that’s if there’s any broadcast at all.
But even if you’re not a fan of those sports, luck is with you. Thanks to BYUtv and a few intrepid YouTubers, a vast library of games from teams former and current is available online at any time.
With just a couple clicks, you can relive Danny Ainge’s coast to coast, the Cougar’s 24-point comeback over Iona in the NCAA tournament, and Jimmer’s 40-foot buzzer-beater against the Utes. Remember the stars that were Tyler Haws, Brandon Davies, and Kyle Collinsworth.
And, well, a lot more Jimmer. Because who gets tired of that?
But looking at the vast list of games can be daunting. Besides one or two standouts, it’s sometimes hard to remember what games are worth a rewatch.
Fear not. We’ve done the work for you. We’ll count down the top 25 BYU basketball games you can watch online, starting with 25-21.
