BYU football: Five great players the Cougars will have to stop this season
LSU WR D.J. Chark
Chark caught 26 passes for 466 yards and three touchdowns last season for LSU. Those aren’t eye-popping numbers, but Chark was the Tigers’ third receiver. Also, LSU was a run-heavy offense.
Speaking of the run game, Chark can hurt you there, too.
He’s deadly in the jet sweep game. The first touch of his collegiate career was a 79-yard touchdown run. For his career, Chark’s taken 13 carries for 201 yards and three scores.
Speed kills, and Chark has it. Basically every time he touches the ball he’s taking it 17 yards. (667 total yards on 39 career touches).
