BYU football received four commitments over the last 48 hours to bolster the 2018 and 2019 recruiting classes.

As things are starting to warm up around Provo (we’re less than 75 days away from the home opener against Portland State), the Cougars saw multiple recruits commit to the program this week.

Three of those recruits are in the class of 2018 while one will join BYU football in 2019.

Class of 2018: Oliver Nasilai

The most recent player to commit to BYU is Oliver Nasilai. The 3-star linebacker from Arkansas also had an offer from Oklahoma State but elected to come to Provo next year. He also received interest from Arizona State, Arkansas, Arkansas State, Louisiana-Monroe, Memphis, Navy, Northwestern, Utah and Virginia.

At Har-Ber High School, Nasilai has recorded 128 total tackles, two interceptions and caused four fumbles.

This past season, he also ran the ball seven times and recorded a single touchdown.

24/7 Sports gives Nasilai a No. 50 national ranking and a No. 9 state ranking as an inside linebacker.
