Four different BYU football recruiting targets had a great week at one of the premiere football camps in the nation.

Kalani Sitake is changing BYU football for the better.

Don’t believe me? Just look at who the Cougars are recruiting. And not just pursuing, either. BYU football is in the driver’s seat for some of the best high school players in the country.

It’s been a long time since we could say that.

This was on display last week, as BYU football had four different targets competing at Nike’s The Opening football camp.

The camp invites 160 of the best prospects in the nation to Beaverton, Oregon.

Tanner McKee, Brandon Kaho, Gunner Romney and Merlin Robertson were the four BYU football targets in attendance.

Kaho is the only one of the four currently committed to the Cougars, but Scout regional analyst Blair Angulo likes BYU’s chances on all four.

Angulo told Ben Criddle on ESPN 960 (transcribed by Brandon Gurney of the Deseret News) that he was “confident” that three of the four end up in Provo.

Angulo believes those three are McKee, Romney and Kaho.

Let’s take a look at all four of the potential Cougars.
