BYU football: Six sophomores who will have a big impact this season
Akile Davis, WR
Admittedly, I’m more bullish on Davis than most. But I’ve always thought a great way to judge college wide receivers is based on their athleticism.
In short, Davis has boatloads of it.
He’s bulked up since arriving in Provo, and is now listed at 6-foot-2, 200-pounds. He’s got great speed, good instincts and I think he may end up being BYU football’s second-best receiver behind Jonah Trinnaman this season.
