BYU football: Six sophomores who will have a big impact this season

Wilcox is a player that Ed Lamb was really high on. That’s really all I needed to know.

Unfortunately, after Wilcox got torched against Toledo last season (his poor performance stuck out on a night where most defenders played poorly) he was never the same. I expect to see a much different player this season.

Wilcox will likely start the year as a nickel corner/third corner, but I think he’ll be a really solid corner in man and zone coverage.
