Troy Warner, DB

Warner missed some time as a freshman, but there’s no denying that BYU football’s defense was better when he was on the field.

He posted 21 total tackles and seven pass break ups last year, and there’s no reason to think he won’t build on that impressive freshman campaign.

Warner is extremely athletic, and was great in coverage. I think he’s a solid tackler, and there were rumblings that he’d move to safety before his BYU football career is over. He’d be excellent there too.
