BYU football: Five freshmen that will make an impact this season

Keanu Saleapaga, DL

The former USC commit will likely make a splash along the defensive front for the Cougars. BYU wants playmakers along the defensive line, and Saleapaga certainly fits that billing.

He’ll have to compete with a lot of other talented defensive tackles, but Sitake and Tuiaki utilized rotations last season after the Cougars got gassed in Salt Lake City against the Utes. I fully expect Saleapaga to be a part of that rotation – and a big one at that.
