The Rest Of The Year

The final six games will consist of inconsistency and moments of glory for the Cougars. Fans will be angry at halftime at some of these games as BYU trails or is tied. San Jose State will once again scare the Cougars as they always seem to be able to, however, in the end, BYU will come out on top in all of their remaining games.

Predictions:
vs. ECU 35-17 BYU
vs. FRESNO 49-14 BYU
vs. SJSU 28-24 BYU
vs. UNLV 54-21 BYU
vs. UMASS 49-3 BYU
vs Hawaii 38-14 BYU

With results like this, it is difficult to imagine that the Cougars are left out of the College Football Playoff. Granted, BYU would more than likely be ranked No. 4, and squeak in – regardless of the unblemished ever.

Are these results an extreme longshot? Of course. Is it possible? Certainly. With BYU’s schedule through the first two months, there’s no shame in a 10-win season. To run the table would be nothing short of incredible. For perspective, no Division-I team has finished undefeated since 2013, when the Florida State Seminoles did it.

Good luck, Cougars.
