Question 4: Will BYU fans  actually still have nails after each game this season?

Last year, BYU played nine games that were either against teams with winning records or teams that were from a Power Five conference. All but one of these games came down to the final minute.

Whether it was the two-point conversion against Utah or the late interception against Wyoming, every single game made Cougar fans feel nervous. It is often mentioned that BYU lost four games by a combined 8 points, however it is often overlooked that BYU also won another three games by a combined 7 points (not to mention the double overtime win against Mississippi State).

Will this season be different? Will BYU actually be able to put opponents away before the final play? Or will fans again be biting their nails until the final whistle blows as they did in 2016? Don’t get me wrong, close games are super fun and emotional, however, we shouldn’t have to call our grandparents after every game making sure that they are okay.
