No. 4: 2009 – BYU 26, Utah 23

Both teams entered the 2009 contest ranked in the Top 25. The Cougars sat at No. 18 and the Utes came in at No. 21.

Utah took a 6-0 lead into the second quarter, then BYU took over, scoring 20 unanswered points over the next two periods.

The tables turned again, though, as Utah scored the last 14 points of regulation, capped off by a 40-yard field goal by Joe Phillips with less than a minute left.

Another Phillips field goal in overtime put the Utes up 23-20, but then Max Hall hit Andrew George over the middle, two Utah defenders decided to tackle each other, and George took it into the endzone to give the Cougars the 26-23 win.
