No. 3: BYU the little brother?

Ugh.

Yeah, technically, BYU football is the little brother. That’s what happens when you beat your rival just five times since 2000.

But you know what could change that?

A win.

If you want to prove you’re not the little brother, close losses won’t cut it – the Cougars need to pick up a win over Utah. Protect LaVell Edwards Stadium, rebound from a disappointing LSU effort and snap the streak.

Fred Warner said it would mean “everything” to get a win.

This has to be BYU football’s Super Bowl. I know beating Wisconsin will grab more headlines, but beating Utah means more. It means more for recruiting and I think it means more for the program as a whole.

Beating Utah gets the monkey off the backs of the Cougars. Maybe it would allow BYU to finally regain some swagger.
