Any concern with the long trip from Wisconsin to Provo, Utah?

Noah Seligman: Yeah, I would say there’s some concern. BYU football is a tough opponent and Provo isn’t an easy place to play. I would imagine for multiple reasons that that Madison and Provo are completely different locales.

Provo is also at a high altitude, while Madison most definitely is not. So this will be a big test for the Badgers in terms of early-season fitness and conditioning. Both of Wisconsin’s game haven’t really been in doubt for the final 15 minutes, but the Badgers may not be as fortunate next weekend.

In addition, this is the Badgers’ first road game of the season. Wisconsin was able to ease into the season against tome heavy underdog opponents, and therefore haven’t played a complete 60-minute game so far.

So, yes, it’s hard to get a full read on how good this team is and how good it can be. That said, despite some uneven stretches, it’s hard to quibble too much with where Wisconsin sits in the national polling. It would certainly be an upset for BYU football to beat the Badgers, but it might be on the milder side of shock (if that makes sense).
