Braiden Shaw, Junior

2016-17 statistics: 31 games played, 6.5 MPG, 1.4 PPG, 1.9 RPG

Shaw was mainly a bench piece last season, occasionally rotating in to spell Eric Mika or Yoeli Childs. He’s a scrappy player who should probably put on more weight to be more successful (he’s listed at just 210-pounds).

Last year he wasn’t really fast enough to guard smaller forwards, but wasn’t strong enough to guard bigger ones. He also isn’t much of a scoring threat. However, Shaw is an experienced player. Like we saw throughout last season, having a veteran presence is still important.
