BYU football: Three things to know for the Boise State Broncos

A down defense?

Boise State usually has a pretty stout defense. It’s what kept them in all those big games they ultimately won, turning heads across the nation.

This season, the Bronco defense is a little down.

Boise State is allowing 29 points per game this season – even that number is skewed slightly due to a triple overtime game against Washington State. Still, it shows that teams can move the ball on Boise.

Can BYU football? Who knows. Considering how the Cougars have looked (and all the injuries), it wouldn’t surprise me if BYU doesn’t do much.

Then again, it wouldn’t be crazy to think the Cougars get a little home cooking going on Friday night.

Here’s hoping, at least.
