TJ Haws

Haws was very impressive as a true freshman last season. It looks like the “Ginger Mamba” is poised to take a huge leap this season as the leader of BYU basketball.

The Cougars will rely on Haws heavily for scoring – and I think that’s a good thing. Haws is so smooth with the ball that he can get to the lane with ease. Now that the Cougars have plenty of shooters, I expect the offense to be much more efficient.

With the possibility of Haws sharing the floor with Emery, Jahshire Hardnett and Zac Seljaas – he can be sucking in the defense and then kicking the ball out to any number of 40 percent 3-point shooters.

I think that Haws can be a 20 points per game and five assists per game player this season.
