No. 3: Use the trip as a bonding experience

Coaches and players need to brace themselves for what is to come in the following months. Every position, player and coach, will be under heavy scrutiny.

Theories and philosophies will be derived and declared by every analyst, writer and fan across Cougar Nation. The critics are coming in droves.

Your team will be all you have, and if your bond is not strong, you will crumble. Finger pointing, backbiting and desertion are all possible results that must be avoided at all costs.

The BYU football program must use these precious few hours in Hawaii. Strengthen that relationship and prepare for the tsunami that’s on its way.

Hopefully, they take advantage of this final road trip of 2017. It is their last chance to salvage what few positives exist from this season.
